Wellness & Spiritual Retreats, the way it was passed down

These retreats are a calm, structured way to step out of daily pressure and give body, mind, and spirit room to settle. You choose how far to go, a single restorative day, or three or five days when you want to move past the first unwinding into something deeper. Whichever length you pick, the foundation is the same: gentle yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, nature walks, and unhurried rest, woven into a rhythm that is intentionally spacious. What changes with each length is how deeply you can settle in and how much time you have to integrate.

People come here because something in their life is asking for quiet, The teachers of Jivan Parivartan

The Jivan Parivartan way

Teaching in Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu since 2021, more than ten thousand sessions, guests from more than eleven countries. Groups stay small, so a real teacher can meet you where you are.

The 1 day, 3 day and 5 day retreats compared

Every retreat draws on the same holistic foundation, yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, nature immersion, and rest. What changes with each length is how deeply you can settle in and how much integration time you have. Not sure which length is right for you? Tell us how much time you have and what you're hoping for, and we'll help you find the retreat that fits.

1 Day, Quick Reset

A short, meaningful format for deep relaxation, gentle healing, and inner renewal. The One Day Retreat is ideal when you need a restorative pause from mental pressure, fatigue, or emotional overload but don't have time for a longer retreat. It's a balanced day of yoga, meditation, healing practices, rest, and nourishing meals, and it works just as well for individuals, small groups, or organizations.

The One Day Retreat includes breakfast, lunch, and evening tea with snacks.

3 Days, Deep Balance

Three days give the body and mind time to slow down properly. With more space between sessions, you can move past the initial settling-in and into a steadier sense of balance, carrying the calm of the first day into a deeper, more settled state.

5 Days, Transformation

Five days allow the practice to build momentum. This is a retreat for those ready to go beyond rest and into genuine change, releasing what has accumulated, deepening your meditation and healing work, and giving new patterns time to take root.

What a day on retreat looks like

To give you a sense of the rhythm, here is our Complete Wellness Day, the itinerary for the One Day Retreat, which includes breakfast, lunch, and tea with snacks. Longer retreats expand on this same gentle rhythm across multiple days, adding nature walks, group workshops, and more time for meditation, healing, and rest.

No.What happensWhen
01Gentle morning yogaThe day opens with a soft, unhurried yoga session to release tension held in the body and ease you out of your usual pace. Slow stretches, mindful breathing, and simple movement wake the body kindly.Morning
02Vegetarian breakfastA fresh, wholesome vegetarian breakfast, light, nourishing, and prepared to keep you calm and comfortable through the morning.
03Rest and integrationA quiet window to relax, absorb the morning, and simply be, with no agenda but stillness. Some guests use it for a gentle nature walk or a little forest bathing among the trees.
04Stress-management therapy sessionA guided session focused on releasing mental pressure and emotional strain, giving you practical, grounding tools to carry the calm home with you.
05LunchA nourishing, locally sourced vegetarian lunch shared in peaceful surroundings, clean, gentle food chosen to support a light natural detox.Midday
06Yoga nidra and stop meditationIn the afternoon you sink into yoga nidra, the deeply restful "yogic sleep" with roots in the Vedic tradition and the Vedas, paired with a stop meditation, a form of silent meditation, for profound rest. This is where the day's deepest release happens, as body and mind fully let go.Afternoon
07Closing sound bathThe day ends with a soothing sound bath healing session. Much like music therapy, the resonant tones of singing bowls and other vibrational practices wash over you, guiding the body into deep relaxation, rebalancing your energy, and leaving you settled, clear, and renewed.Evening
